Harah vom Dilmunfast “Vesper” is currently 4 years old.  She passed the VJP with 68 points and the HZP with 148 points.  She failed the VGP,  failing the rabbit drag.  She is HDa and OCD free.  She is spayed.

Vesper is a sweet dog but lacks the drive that I want out of my personal dogs and certainly what we demand for a breeding female.  Otherwise she is an excellent dog if used in a manner suited for her.  She will never be a Chukar hunter or hunt heavily vegetated water or rivers for ducks.  She does fine in the grouse woods or for quail, serious wild pheasant hunting may be a stretch for her but she has done it serviceable well.  If you are looking for a dog to range way out or to bust through the cattails – she isn’t for you, but if preserve pheasants, quail and sipping bourbon by the fire are more your speed – you’ll love her.  She does remarkable well in open water or flooded rice fields.  She is force broken and a reliable retriever.  She has the finest nose we have produced  routinely recovering birds that other dogs have given up on.  If she tells you its there – its there.   She has no aggression issues or bad habits.    For sale at $4,000.00.
